Have Your Say: Voting Now Open for Trustee Elections and Deed Changes

Make sure your vote counts by voting as soon as possible. Postal and online voting will close at 11:00am on Saturday, 23 November 2024.

Voting packs have been mailed to adult members (18+) without an email address on record.

Starting Tuesday, 22 October, members with registered email addresses will receive voting credentials via email from iro@electionz.com.

For those who have not yet registered but will want to vote in the upcoming elections, please check out our Membership Page on how you can register. A friendly heads up, there is a process to verify your registration, so it is recommended to register as soon as possible and make sure to submit all the required documentation to support your registration.

PROPOSED DEED CHANGES

At the 2021 AGM, major changes to the Ngāti Koata Trust (NKT) and Te Pātaka a Ngāti Koata Trust (TPNKT) Deeds were approved, followed by minor amendments in 2023. Further updates to clarify or correct errors in both Deeds are proposed for consideration at the AGM on 23 November 2024.

Iwi members are asked to vote on these proposed amendments via special resolutions. A summary of the changes can be viewed on the voting website or by clicking the Deed Review, Information Notes, and Proposed Amendments images.
